As announced during the Hockey Youth Empowerment Summit (the Trinity Edition at the Ghana International School (GIS) in May 2023), this year 2024, we are devoting the entire month of May for hockey promotion. This year’s event is dubbed May Hockey Festival. This festival will start from 1st May with a launch and will end 31st May. It is packed with activities taking place in Accra and in some selected regions of Ghana.
The May Hockey Festival 2024 is intended to widen the reach of hockey, increase participation and promote adherence to International Hockey Federation (FIH) goals. The Festival will acknowledge *efforts of the past and celebrate the hope for the future.
As an organization, we are confident that Ghanaians will fall in love with Hockey and will never look back. This is a fortune we are boldly committed to finding.
Tomorrow is far, the future is today and it is now.

B&S YOU (Ball & Stick Young Officiating Umpire) is one of several initiatives under our 1M4H (1 Million 4 Hockey) project. B&S YOU is focused on training female students in schools in becoming Umpires.
This program is designed to attract lots of girls/ladies into Hockey, a sport, highly dominated by males and to allow students to officiate their own matches and tournaments.

This August, some international schools in the capital Accra will enjoy holistic Field Hockey activity as part of Ball and Stick’s Grow the Game project, which is in support to the International Hockey Federation (FIH) vision of increasing hockey participation and followings. Read more
